Churchill Private Hospital and Specialist Centre is proud to be a major sponsor of this year’s Rapaura Springs Garden Marlborough.
Tickets are on sale now for the popular event, which kicks off on 6 November and finishes with the garden fete in Churchill Glade, Pollard Park, on Sunday, 10 November.
Churchill Private Hospital Trust General Manager Nicki Stretch says Garden Marlborough aligns perfectly with the trust’s aim to benefit and enhance the overall health and wellbeing of the Marlborough community.
“Gardening is a great way to stay fit and active, and besides the physical exercise there are many healthy benefits to gardening such as eating home-grown fruit and vegetables.”
“Many of our patients cite gardening as a favourite activity, and come to us for treatment on injuries and sore joints that could otherwise stop them from getting out in the garden.
“It’s always great to see our patients return to their gardens with full mobility, and with full enjoyment.”
Nicki says Rapaura Springs Garden Marlborough, now in its 26th year, is driven by volunteers and a not-for-profit registered charity.
“Like the Churchill Private Hospital Trust, Garden Marlborough channels profits straight back into the local community by supporting community projects and granting scholarships to deserving students. These sorts of wide reaching benefits are one of the many reasons why we support this fantastic event.”
