Churchill are delighted to celebrate the very best of Marlborough sport this November as name sponsors of the 2026 Churchill Hospital Trust Marlborough Sports Awards. Taking place at the Marlborough Events Centre, the annual awards celebrate the people whose passion, commitment and service help Marlborough sport thrive – representing community values that align with Churchills own.
Churchill Hospital have a long standing and ongoing commitment to the health and wellbeing of the Marlborough community. That commitment sees the charitable trust supporting initiatives including those in the sport and recreation sector, that promote wellness through activity.
“Our community donations programme has provided financial support to many not-for-profit organisations including Sport Tasman which runs community groups and sports events throughout Marlborough.” Says General Manager, Belinda Watkins.
Churchill have been a supporter of Sport Tasman as far back as 2014. In recent years they have sponsored individual awards at the event as well as supporting community hubs locally. Now over a decade on it is fitting to elevate that partnership by being announced as name sponsors of this years awards.
“We are very proud to take part in the Sports Awards and to be given naming rights.’ says Belinda.
Sport Tasman took to Facebook to share their pride in partnering with an organisation that ‘recognises the positive role sport plays in bringing people together and building stronger communities’.

The 2026 Churchill Hospital Trust Marlborough Sports Awards will take place on 21 November at the Marlborough Event Centre.
