Tennis players and spectators now have more ways to stay cool courtside, thanks to a donation from the Churchill Private Hospital Trust to the Marlborough Tennis Club. Bowel cancer in Marlborough is “definitely not being caught early enough” says Churchill Private Hospital colorectal surgeon Chris Liyanage, as a screening programme for the disease gets underway in the region. Marlborough Riding for the Disabled (MRDA) says a recent donation from the Churchill Private Hospital Trust for its specialised children’s programme “means the world to us”.
